Falguni Patel

Falguni Patel is a senior attorney at The Allongo Law Firm, LLC and primarily handles immigration matters with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) such as family-based petitions, VAWA petitions, applications to register permanent residence or adjust status, and waivers of inadmissibility and unlawful presence, as well as various municipal matters such as driving without a license, driving while suspended, and driving while intoxicated in numerous municipalities throughout the State of New Jersey.

Prior to joining the Allongo Law Firm, Falguni served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office where she handled hundreds of cases of all types including drug offenses, thefts, burglaries, robberies, and assaults from the pre-indictment stage all the way to plea or trial and sentence. Falguni’s experience as a prosecutor focused on handling matters involving aggravated sexual assaults, sexual assaults, criminal sexual contacts, and endangering the welfare of a child. She also has wide experience in the prosecution of domestic violence matters involving violations of domestic violence restraining orders and concomitant disorderly persons offenses.


Falguni was also an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office in the State of New York where she handled hundreds of misdemeanor cases within the Criminal Court Bureau involving matters such as drug offenses, assaults, and driving while intoxicated. She started her legal career in 2011 as a law clerk to the presiding criminal judge, the Honorable Bradley J Ferencz, P.J.Cr. in the Criminal Division of the Middlesex County Superior Court. She graduated from Rutgers University, summa cum laude, with her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science and obtained her juris doctorate from New York Law School.

Falguni is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
